Course Outcomes:
On completion of the course, the student will be able to apply appropriate management techniques towards managing the water resources.
- Describe the context and principles of IWRM; Compare the conventional and integrated ways of water management.
- Discuss on the different water uses; how it is impacted and ways to tackle these impacts.
- Explain the economic aspects of water and choose the best economic option among the alternatives; illustrate the pros and cons of PPP through case studies.
- Illustrate the recent trends in water management.
- Understand the implementation hitches and the institutional frameworks.
