OVERHAUL AND REPAIR 9
Meaning and difference, optimal overhaul / Repair / Replace maintenance policy for equipment subject to breakdown. Replacement Decisions: Deterministic and stochastic replacement situations, failure and preventive replacement, Optimal Interval between preventive replacement of equipment subject to breakdown, group replacement.

REPAIR METHODS FOR MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT 9
Repair methods for Material handling equipment – Equipment records -Job order systems – Use of computers in maintenance.

CONDITION MONITORING 9
Condition Monitoring – Cost comparison with and without CM – On-load testing and offload testing -Methods and instruments for CM – Temperature sensitive tapes – Pistol thermometers – wear-debris analysis.
