Language and Communication

COURSE DESCRIPTION This course offers an introduction to language and communication. The primary goal of this course is to familiarize students with key ideas related to communication using language as well as non verbal means. Ideas related to the use of language and the underlying power structures are also examined. The course also examines the role of media in communication and in the dissemination of ideas as well as opinions.

Course Outcome:
