Course Objective:
- To train the students in fundamentals of garment construction.

- Stitch classification and stitch properties.
- Formation of Stitch classes.
- Seam classification and common uses.
- Sewing practice of – superimposed seam, lapped seam, bound seam and flat seam.
- Button hole and button stitch machine.
- Study of Feed-of-the-arm machine.
- Assembling of various garment components using appropriate seams.
