INTRODUCTION TO TEXTILE FIBRES 9 Definition of various forms of textile fibres – staple fibre, filament, bicomponent fibres. Classification of Natural and Man-made fibres, essential and desirable properties of Fibres. Production and cultivation of Natural Fibers: Cotton, Silk, Wool -Physical and chemical structure of the above fibres.
