Course Outcomes:
The students completing the course will have
- an understanding of the nature and characteristics of, noise pollution and basic concepts of air quality management
- ability to identify, formulate and solve air and noise pollution problems
- ability to design stacks and particulate air pollution control devices to meet applicable laws.
- Explain the source and types of industrial air pollution and their environmental impacts and choose the regulatory laws pertaining to environmental protection
- Conduct research to develop effective management systems for industrial air pollution that are technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable
