Course Objectives:

• Enable the students to develop a sound working knowledge on different types of heat transfer equipments and mass transfer equipments.

Course Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the student would be able to

• Calculate heat transfer by conduction, different types of convection using classical models for these phenomena.
• Demonstrate knowledge on the determination of important data for the design and operation of the process equipments like distillation, extraction, diffusivity, drying principles which are having wide applications in various industries
