INTRODUCTION TO EMBEDDED SYSTEMS 6 Introduction to Embedded Systems -Structural units in Embedded processor, selection of processor & memory devices- DMA Memory management methods- Timer and Counting devices, Real Time Clock, In-circuit emulator, Target Hardware Debugging.

Unit III

INTERRUPTS THE SERVICE MECHANISM AND DEVICE DRIVER 6 Programmed-I/O busy-wait approach without interrupt service mechanism-ISR concept-interrupt sources – multiple interrupts – context and periods for context switching, interrupt latency and deadline – Introduction to Device Drivers.
