PERMANENT MAGNET BRUSHLESS DC MOTORS 6 Fundamentals of Permanent Magnets- Types- Principle of operation- Magnetic circuit analysis EMF and Torque equations- Characteristics- Controller design-Transfer function -Machine, Load and Inverter-Current and Speed Controller.

Course Outcomes:

  1. Ability to model and analyze power electronic systems and equipment using computational software.
  2. Ability to optimally design magnetics required in special machines based drive systems using FEM based software tools.
