Course Objective:
The course is aimed to ” Learn experimentally to calibrate flow meters, find pressure loss for fluid flows and determine pump characteristics.

Course Outcome:
On the completion of the course students are expected to
- Identify and characterize of flow patterns and regimes
- Calibrate flow measurement devices
- Correlate the difference between fixed and fluidized bed columns and its application.
- Select pumps for the transportation of fluids based on process conditions/requirements and fluid properties
- Compare the results of theoretical analytical models to the actual behavior of real fluid flows and draw sustainable conclusions
- Work effectively as a team with commitment to the professional ethics among the peer group involved.
