BASIC ELEMENTS OF HUMAN BODY 9 Cell – Cell Structure and organelles – Functions of each component in the cell. Cell membrane -transport across membrane – Action potential (Nernst, Goldman equation), Homeostasis. Tissue: Types, functions.

CARDIOVASCULAR AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEM 9 Cardiovascular System: Structure – Conduction System of heart – Cardiac Cycle – Cardiac output. Blood: Composition – Functions – Haemostasis – Blood groups and typing. Blood Vessels – Structure and types – Blood pressure – Respiratory system: Parts of respiratory system – Respiratory physiology – Lung volumes and capacities – Gaseous exchange.
