STATICALLY INDETERMINATE STRUCTURES Introduction. Determination of degree of statical indeterminacy for beams and frames. Advantages and disadvantages of statically indeterminate structures. Method of consistent deformation. Method of Moment distribution for continuous beams and Single portal frames. Application to simple problems.
