OBJECTIVE:
To practice mastication, mixing and preparing rubber products.
LIST OF EXPERIMENTS
- Mastication of NR on two roll mill
- Mixing of rubber compounds
- Compression moulding of rubber compounds
- Autoclave curing of an extrude
TOTAL : 45 PERIODS
OUTCOMES: Upon completing this course, the students
- Will distinguish the application of natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
- Will demonstrate the vulcanization process
- Will attain the knowledge of compounding materials
