OBJECTIVE: To impart knowledge of fabric and garment quality parameters testing.

Determination of
- Fabric tensile, tear and bursting strength
- Fabric flexural rigidity, bending modulus and drapability
- Fabric crease and wrinkle recovery
- Fabric abrasion and pilling resistance tests
- Fabric air permeability
- Fabric surface roughness and friction coefficient
TOTAL : 45 PERIODS
OUTCOMES: Upon completion the students will be able to
- Measure important characteristics of fabric and garment
- Interpret the results obtained during evaluation of fabrics
