Course Objective:
Of this laboratory course are
- To enable the students understand the behaviour of aircraft structural components under different loading conditions.
- To provide an exposure to photo elasticity and its applications in stress analysis
- To familiarize with unsymmetrical bending of beams and shafts
- To familiarize with the fabrication of composite laminates.

- Acoustic and Ultrasonic Testing of Composites
- Free Vibration Studies with Beams
- Forced Vibration TestingAny 10 experiments will be conducted from above 14 experiments
Course Outcome:
Upon completion of the course, Students will be able to
- Practical behaviour of aircraft structural Components Under different loading conditions.
- Student will have hands-on experience in the area of testing of structural components.
- Student will able to demonstrate the basics experimental techniques in photoelasticity.
- Student will have an exposure to data interpretation/analysis of vibration measuring instruments.
- Student will have practical knowledge in the field of fabrication and testing of Composite material specimens.
