CONCURRENT AND NON-CONCURRENT 12 Introduction, Concept of FBD, Coplanar Concurrent force system, Moments, Coplanar NonConcurrent force system and Support Reactions – Application Problems.

AXIAL BAR AND MATERIAL MODULUS 12 Simple stress and Strain, Mechanical Properties of Materials, Statically Determinate Problems and Elastic Constants, Tension, Compression, and Shear, Elasticity, Plasticity and Creep, Hookes Law. Allowable stresses.
