Formatting your Project Report

  1. Report should be typed neatly on one side of the paper with 1 . 5 spacing on a A4v size bond paper (210 x 297 mm.).
  2. Use dry tone Xerox for printing. The margins should be left: 1 . 25”, Right – 1”, Top and bottom – 0 . 75”

  3. The total number of reports to be prepared is THREE (One each for the Office, Guide and student.).
  4. Before taking the final printout, the approval of their concerned guide is necessary and corrections suggested, if any must be incorporated. If the draft is not approved by the guide, the guide is not obliged to sign the report.
  5. The project report must be paperback bound and don’t use spiral binding.
  6. The Project report must contain 80 – 120 pages. But no more than 150 Pages.

Outlay of the Report:

The Chapter, Sections and Sub sections may be numbered in the decimal form for e . g . Chapter2 section as 2 . 1, 2 . 2 etc ., and Sub section as 2 . 2 . 3, 2 . 5 . 1 etc .

Each chapter must be left justified (font size 16 . ) . Followed by the Title of chapter entered (font size 18 . ) ., sections / sub section numbers along with their headings must be left justified with section number and its heading in font size 16 and sub section and its heading font size 14 . The body or the text of the report should have font size 12 (Times new Roman.).
