  5. Draw the lapping diagram of various warp knitted structures.
  6. Calculate the production of warp knitting machine both from the given yarn and fabric particulars.
  7. Draw the working principle of Let-off and Take-up mechanism used in the warp knitting machine.

Minor Experiment (Marks = 30)

  1. Trace the passage of material through a hosiery machine.
  2. Demonstrate the arrangement of knitting elements in a hosiery machine (Needle, sinker, Cam Arrangement and Picker Arrangement)
  3. Draw the parts of a Half-hose sample given and describe how to produce each part.
  4. Draw the knitting cycle of Single cylinder Hosiery machine.
  5. Trace and draw the gearing mechanism, machine drives and controls in automatic plain hosiery machine.
  6. Demonstrate the method of producing various hosiery patterns. (any four socks samples)
  7. Demonstrate the method of producing of Terry and Jacquard socks.
