Rationale:

Garment production starts with drafting of patterns of various parts of the garment. This technique helps the manufacturers in assembling the parts perfectly in the next process. Further it assists to calculate the requirement of fabric for garment construction and subsequently reduced fabric consumption and increased profits. This practical subject provides hands on experience on the method of drafting and constructing each and every part of garment like front, back, yoke, collar, cuff, skirt panels etc., for various styles.
