PGCET Karnataka 2020

PGCET Karnataka 2020 exam has been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. It was earlier scheduled to be organized on August 9, 2020. New dates are yet to be announced. Application forms were available until July 7, 2020. Karnataka PGCET is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority for admission into MBA/MCA/ME/M-TECH/M-ARCH courses in various colleges offering these courses. Non local Karnataka candidates are only eligible to apply MBA and MCA course. For detailed syllabus kindly visit KPGCET syllabus.

PGCET Karnataka 2020: Academic Eligibility

The details of all M.E/MBA/MCA/M-TECH/M-ARCH courses are available on the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website http://kea.kar.nic.in. The candidates need to check eligibility before applying to any of the courses. Therefore, students don’t need to modify the application. PGCET Karnataka 2020: Non-Eligibility

  1. All the undergraduate degrees to be approved Government/VTU/other respective universities.
  2. Degrees from Aeronautical Society of India is NOT Approved as per the VTC, Belgaum dated 12-08-2014 (Aug 2014)
  3. B.E Degree through Distance Education are not eligible for M.Tech as per the VTC, Belgaum dated 30-05-2014 (May 2014)
  4. Degrees from Aeronautical Society of India and Associate Membership Examination of Institution of electronics and Telecommunication (AMIET) are NOT permitted to M.Tech. As per VTU, Belgaum dated 14-05-2018 (May 2018).

PGCET Karnataka 2020: Fee Structure

Application forms are accepted only after payment of the application fee. Fee should be paid by submitting the generated challan in the specified bank for payment. General and OBC candidates should pay Rs. 650/- for each course. And RS.500/- for SC / ST and category-1- only candidates of Karnataka.

PGCET Karnataka 2020: Note to the candidates

Candidates can download the hall ticket after ascertaining the payment of bank details.

The candidates should fill the online PGCET- 2019 application form once. As correction in the application will not be permitted. .

PGCET Karnataka 2020: Gate Candidates

The candidates qualifying GATE are eligible for application to admission to M.E/M-TECH/M-ARCH courses in Karnataka region.
