1. Engine maintenance &repairing : (18 Periods)

2. Repairing processes (10 Periods)
Cylinder re-boring and re-sleeving, Removal of liners andfitting, inspection; Repair and fitting of valve and valveguides, checking the connecting rod for bending andconnecting rod alignment, inspection of crank shaft forovality and regrinding, Phasing and calibration of fuelinjection pump, nozzle testing, cleaning and grinding.
3. Repair & maintenance of radiator and lubricating system: (12 Periods)
Principle of lubrications on multi cylinder engine, Types of Lubrication system-Splash , Pressure, Combined , Types of Lubrication pumps and pump drives , Maintenance of lubricatingsystem, Flushing the lubricating system, Change of usedlubricating oils, clearing and fitting of oil filterlubrication of water pump, grades of oils, multi grade oil,additives for improving the quality of oilRadiator Repair & maintenance.
4. Electrical system Repair & maintenance (14 Periods)

5. Repair & maintenance of vehicle air conditioning system (16 Periods)
Testing and Charging of Air Conditioner, care & maintenance electrical components, noise level system, fresh airallowance, primary & secondary circuit, heat exchanger,cooling & dehumidifying coil. Care & servicing-Air controlunit, temperature control unit, magnet clutch, condenser,fanassembly, Evaporator, relays, expansion valve, filters andthree way solenoid valve. Checking of harness of airconditioning.
