- Linear Programming: Linear Programming Problem: Formulation, Graphical solution, Simplex method, Big-M method, Two-phase method, Principle of Duality, Dual Simplex, Sensitivity Analysis.
- Transportation problem: Formulation – Optimal solution, Degeneracy.
- Assignment problem: Formulation – Optimal solution, Traveling Salesman problem.
- Sequencing: Introduction – Flow Shop sequence. Sequencing – n jobs through two machines – n jobs through three machines – Job shop sequencing – two jobs through m machines. 15
