Course Outcomes:

Learner will be able to

Module 6

HR & MIS: Need, purpose, objective and role of information system in HR, Applications in HRD in various industries (e.g. manufacturing R&D, Public Transport, Hospitals, Hotels and service industries Strategic HRM Role of Strategic HRM in the modern business world, Concept of Strategy, Strategic Management Process, Approaches to Strategic Decision Making; Strategic Intent – Corporate Mission, Vision, Objectives and Goals Labor Laws & Industrial Relations Evolution of IR, IR issues in organizations, Overview of Labor Laws in India; Industrial Disputes Act, Trade Unions Act, Shops and Establishments Act 10

Assessment:

Internal: Assessment consists of two tests out of which; one should be compulsory class test (on minimum 02 Modules) and the other is either a class test or assignment on live problems or course project. End Semester Examination: Some guidelines for setting the question papers are as, six questions to be set each of 20 marks, out of these any four questions to be attempted by students. Minimum 80% syllabus should be covered in question papers of end semester examination. In question paper weightage of each module will be proportional to number of respective lecture hours as mention in the syllabus.

  1. Question paper will comprise of total six question
  2. All question carry equal marks
  3. Questions will be mixed in nature (for example supposed Q.2 has part
    1. from module 3 then part
    2. will be from any module other than module 3)
  4. Only Four question need to be solved.
