Course Outcomes:

Depending upon the nature of the projects undertaken, the following could be some of the major course outcomes that could be attained, although, in case of some projects few of the following course outcomes may not be applicable.

  1. Implement the planned activity individually and/or as team.
  2. Select, collect and use required information/knowledge to solve the identified problem.
  3. Identify the importance and scope for research in tourism industry.
  4. Incorporate and environment conservation principles.
  5. Acquire interpersonal skills while collecting the data.

Course Details

As the implementation of the project work progresses and which has to be submitted at the end of project work, one of the outputs of this course is a detailed Project Report that is continuously prepared by the student. There will also be regular progressive assessment by the teacher as per the criteria no 7 on the basis of rubrics mentioned in Appendix -C and in the formats as shown in Appendix-Band also for the end-of-semester examination.

Typographical Guidelines

Following is the suggestive format for preparing the project report. Actual report may differ slightly depending upon the nature of topic. The project report may contain the following

  1. The project report shall be computer typed (English- British) and printed on A4 size paper.
  2. Text Font -Times New Roman (TNR), Size-12 point
  3. Subsection heading TNR- 12 point bold normal
  4. Section heading TNR- 12 capital bold
  5. Chapter Name/ Topic Name – TNR- 14 Capital
  6. All text should be justified. (Settings in the Paragraph)
  7. The report must be typed on one side only with double space with a margin 3.5 cm on the left, 2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom.
  8. The project report must be hardbound/ Spiral bound with a cover page in black color. The name of the candidate, diploma (department), year of submission, name of the institute shall be printed on the cover.
  9. The project report, the title page should be given first then the Certificate followed by the acknowledgment and then contents with page numbers.
