Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to achieve & demonstrate the following COs on completion of course based learning
- Draw the flat sketches of the Kid’s garments (Classic Sleeveless Dress/ Singlet, Bonnet, Diaper, Bloomer, Romper, Jumpsuit, Baby frock, Night suit, Pinafore, and Culottes).
- Select the appropriate fabrics and required trimmings for various types of kid’s garments.
- Draft kid’s wear garments (Singlet, diaper, bloomer, bonnet, romper, jumpsuit, baby frock, night suit, pinafore, and culottes)
- Perform optimal fabric estimation for usage.
- Cut and sew fabric and the kid’s garments (Singlet, diaper, bloomer, bonnet, romper, jumpsuit, baby frock, night suit, pinafore, and culottes).

- Iron board: – An ironing board is generally a large, flat piece of board or metal covered with heat-safe padding on which clothing or linens may be ironed safely. 16,18,20,22,24,26
- Single-needle lock stitch machine: – A sewing machine is used to sew fabric and materials together with thread. 16,18,20,22,24,26
