Practical / Tutorial Experiences

  1. * Identify the interlacement of warp and weft and Mark warp & weft Direction.
  2. * Use wrap reel to determine yarn numbering for various spun yarns.
  3. * Use direct wrap reel to determine direct numbering system of manmade yarns.
  4. * Use wrap reel to estimate and compare the direct, indirect numbering system for given yarn.
  5. * Use classimate chart to identify the various sizes of yarn faults.
  6. * Use winding machine to show both the principle of joining the yarn and conversion of smaller to bigger package.
  7. * Use winding machines to identify the difference between principles of winding
  8. * Use winding machine to inspect the functions of clearer, splicer, and tensioner.
  9. * Insert different types of knots using yarn.
  10. * Use yarn strength measurement instrument to estimate strength of splicing/knotting for given yarn.
  11. * Use winding machine to calculate production for given yarn.
  12. Estimate the efficiency of winding machine for given yarn numbering system.
  13. * Use different defective packages to identify the problem in given machine and take corrective remedial action.
  14. Compare the features of various winding machine available in Technical market.
  15. Compare the features of given splicers and select the relevant splicer for given material.
  16. Note : Out of above suggestive LLOs – ‘*’ Marked Practicals (LLOs) Are mandatory. Minimum 80% of above list of lab experiment are to be performed. Judicial mix of LLOs are to be performed to achieve desired outcomes.

Micro Project / Self Learning
