KEAM Exam 2024 will be organized by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) conducting various Entrance Examinations and Allotment Processes for admission to Professional UG and PG programmes Courses. The allotments are made through a Single Window System.

KEAM Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Candidate should be an Indian Citizens including OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) and PIO (Persons of Indian Origin)
  • Candidate should complete 17 years of age on December 31st, 2024
  • Candidate Must have secured a minimum 50% marks in Mathematics as well as 50% marks in aggregate in Physics and Chemistry
  • Candidate Must have passed HSC exam of Kerala or its equivalent with 50% marks in Mathematics or Biology
  • Candidates from the socially backward category will have a 5% relaxation
  • Candidates belonging to Keralite, Non- Keralite Category I (NK I), and Non-Keralite Category-II (NK II) have to produce a nativity certificate
  • The candidate should upload the Nativity proof along with the Online Application

Candidates applying for admission to any of the following courses Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, and Fisheries should apply online on or before the last date.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the Medical & Allied courses should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) 2024 conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA). The CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses only.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Pharm course shall have to appear for and qualify in Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination. Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. the course should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)

Mode of Submission of Applications

  • Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions who seek admission to any or all of the above-mentioned courses have to apply online through the website KEAM 2024
  • Candidates should upload recent Photos, Signatures, Dates of Birth proof, and Nativity proof along with the Online application within the above date.
  • Candidates who want to take admission on NRI quota seats available in Private Self-Financing Medical/Dental colleges and Minority quota (Christian/Muslim) seats in Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy /MBBS/BDS
  • Admission to Engineering Courses in Kerala is based on the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Engineering rank is prepared by giving an equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE for Engineering and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.
  • Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, Agricultural, Forestry, Fisheries, and Veterinary courses will be based on NEET-UG 2020. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical & Allied Courses in Kerala State should be qualified in NEET-UG 2024.
  • The Architecture Rank list will be prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the marks in the qualifying examination.

How many sections are there in KEAM?

KEAM 2023 will have three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

What are the subjects for KEAM?

Does KEAM Exam have a negative marking?

No, the KEAM exam doesn’t have negative markings for unattempted questions. 4 marks are given for correct answers and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

What is a good score in KEAM?

The candidate can look at the KEAM cutoffs for last year as well as the previous year’s cutoff you can look at that too. Candidates need to score above 450 marks out of 600 to get a good score on the KEAM exam.

Is 12th marks matter in KEAM?

Yes, 12th Board marks matter in KEAM, both board and Witten KEAM score 50:50 ratio will be considered.

How are the marks calculated in the KEAM examinations?

KEAM score after normalization is taken as in 50:50 ratio of both board and Witten KEAM scores, KEAM marks are normalized to 300 and added with Class 12 score of 300 and then the total is made out of 600. After that, the rank list will be published.

What is the minimum mark to get to pass the KEAM examination?

Minimum of 10 marks are needed in Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry and 10 marks are needed for Paper 2 Mathematics.
