Course Outcomes:
Student will be able to:
- Familarise with cadd tools and Prepration of Simple drawing by using cadd tools
- Draw Wood working machies by using 2d cadd tools
- Familarise witd 3d cadd tool
- Draw furniture by using 3d and 3d cadd tools
MODULE-I
Introduction to computer aided design and drafting History-application-advantages over manual drafting-hard ware &software requirements-different softwares-autocad with 2D CAD basic menu, starting a new drawing, drawing editor-setting limits of drawing,grid,snap,co-ordinates ortho, polar, osnap modes,zooming,drawing lines, arcs, circles, erase, undo,trim,extend, save &end commands Editing, adding dimensions& text Editing drawings using various modified commands. Add dimensions and text on drawings, copy, mirror ,array ,fillet ,chamfer ,hatching the sectional views. Developing simple orthographic view & dimension it with text. Developing detailed orthographic views with all features
MODULE-II
Wood working machines with 2D Line diagrams of the following Bandsaw, thickness planer, resaw, surface planer ,jig saw& tenoning machine
MODULE III
Introduction to 3D modelling &workspace Basic 3D viewing tools,3D navigation tools Introduction to the user co-ordinate system
MODULE-IV
Different furniture drawings e.g. .wardrobe, dining table, coffee table, cot, outdoor bench ,armed chair and etc
