Course Outcome:

Students will get an opportunity to understand the effects of underground mining on the surface and subsurface structures, design of methods to minimize the damage to structures and laws governing mining subsidence.

Introduction: Strata movement at the mining horizon, convergence in mine working, factors influencing convergence in mine working.
