- Determine of area using total station
- Traversing using total station
- Contouring using total station
- Determination of remote height using total station
- Stake out using total station
- Distance, gradient, differential height between two inaccessible points using total station.
- Curve settling using total station
- Resection using total station
- Setting out works for buildings and pipe lines
- Finding position of stations using G.P.S
