Course Objective: To provide better familiarity with the Theoretical concepts studied.
Course Outcomes: Upon completing these course students shall be able realize the process and different controls applied to each process.
Minimum Twelve experiments should be conducted.
- Study of Electronic controllers.
- Control valve characteristics (Different types).
- Control of Flow process
- Interacting and Non- interacting systems.
- Control of Temperature process
- Process tuning – Process reaction curve method.
- Tuning of PID controller
- Operation of flow loop in plant.
- Pneumatic actuator.
- Hydraulic actuator.
- Multi loop control systems – Ratio Control.
- Multi loop control systems – Cascade Control.
- Feed-forward control.
