Course Code: CE506PC 0/0/3/2
Prerequisites: Surveying
Course Objectives: To Develop GIS interface to field problems through geofencing.
Course Outcomes: At the end of the course, the student is exposed to spatial technologies, mapping the field problems and solution convergence through GIS.
UNIT – I: Development of georeferencing of maps either from cadastral or AutoCAD based map.
UNIT – II: Identification of best locations of ground control points and mosaicing the different sources of maps of information like topo sheets & satellite data and other drawings.
UNIT – III: Digitization and GIS coordination.
