Can you pls explain the cases with and without gate score and is it possible for branch shift?

yes, you can change. Check the rules in yoru state. Also if you write GATE CS paper you can easily get into any good university.

Yes she is eligible for M.Tech BME. Also we developed an app for GATE students from all branches do take a look at previous year papers for different branches and GATE Scores to make a good decision. Competition for ECE is too high.
