Dev and Dheeraj: Do you want to gather sympathy and do nothing? Learn to respect yourself first mate then expect other to do so. Your present state is bad and i have sympathy,but thats not brave what you are saying. No one rapes a PC in India or anywhere,i am like you too.. but our state dont stop us from doing good,there are many general candidates who do good in Gate but cant get admission,education must be based on merit not on sympathy gather on some physical basis issues or caste issues. Yeah i do beleive if you are from weak financial background,there must be goverment provission to lower fees. Remember you can get admission by reservation,but after that competition is tough,the guys with whom you will compete will be better then you as they are top scorers-atleast with higher score then you. So rather then seating and wasting time lamenting your condition its wittful to do good in examinations.. we had reservation in IIT but you cannot use it in your benefit,however NIT and most of State Universities have reservation for pc.

PS: Depend on your merit and hard work rather then reservation :). Its not that they have banned us as we are PC,at some places they show pity on us and show sympathy,i am not so weak to depend on sympathy,its a shame in real term. Its up to you what you want 🙂 . We just cant blame other for our failure to good in exam.

ARUN: Depends on luck mate,the score is low for a ECE and CSE candidate.. keep patience.. apply everywhere and try to visit all the counselling. Rest is not in your hands.

Krupa: YEah even you get in private college through your GATE score and the branch and seats are AICTE approved then you get stipened 🙂

ARPITA: The admit cards are out 🙂

Nikita: Results are out too,they are waiting for some more college to join the counselling. And the fees structure is due too,its expected that they may reduce the fees as they have done for Btech. I guess it will go down to 50k to 60k from 75 k per semester in WBUT.

Note: I am against reservations too, but I seriously condemn those who write such poor english after completing graduation, and aspire for the top universities! May be there should be a quota for graduate illiterates too!
