Single electron transistors: introduction, Coulomb blockade, miniature flash memory, and Yano type memory. Quantum mechanical tunneling: RTDs and Esaki diodes. Introduction to spintronics, molecular nanoelectronics, fault tolerant designs, quantum cellular automata, and quantum computing. MEMS and MOEMS: introduction and applications.
