The details are as follows.<\/p>\n<p>15ARC 3.1\u2013ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN-III<br \/>\nCONTACT PERIODS: 9(Studio) per week<br \/>\nVIVA MARKS: 150<br \/>\nPROGRESSIVE MARKS: 150<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVE<\/strong>: To enable students to understand the processes involved in the transformation of\u00a0space into place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OUTLINE:\u00a0<\/strong>The student after having familiarized with aspects like space, light, movement, scale\u00a0and structure involved in formulating and articulation of spaces relating to health (Clinic),\u00a0food (Restaurant), services (Bank, Post Office) and education (Primary \/ Nursery School)\u00a0in the 2nd semester, needs to move on to tackle larger issues in 3rd Semester. The third\u00a0Semester work relates to transforming \u201cSpace\u201d into \u201cPlace\u201d. The factors influencing this\u00a0process like context, site, surroundings etc will have to be considered.
