Machine shop<\/strong><br \/>\nPreparation of three models on lathe involving<br \/>\nPlain turning, Taper turning, Step turning, Thread cutting, Facing, Knurling, Drilling, Boring, Internal Thread<br \/>\ncutting and eccentric turning.<\/p>\n<p>PART B<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Foundry Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Use of foundry tools and other equipment\u2019s.<br \/>\n2. Preparation of molding sand mixture.<br \/>\n3. Preparation of green sand molds using two molding boxes kept ready for pouring.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using patterns (Single piece pattern and Split pattern)<\/li>\n<li>Without patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Incorporating core in the mold.
