\nSINGLE MACHINE SCHEDULING: Concept, measures of performance, SPT rule, Weighted SPT rule, EDD rule, minimizing the number of tardy jobs. FLOW -SHOP SCHEDULING: Introduction, Johnson’s rule for n’ jobs on 2 and 3 machines, CDS heuristic. JOB-SHOP SHEDULING: Types of schedules, Heuristic procedure, scheduling 2 jobs on ‘m’ machines.<\/p>\n
