Properties and types of reinforcement and matrix materials. Fibre reinforced plastic processing: basic steps in manufacturing of a composite, impregnation, lay-up, consolidation and solidification. Open and closed mould process, hand lay-up techniques, structural laminate vacuum bag and autoclave processing, filament winding, pultrusion, pulforming, thermo-forming, injection molding, resin transfer molding.<\/p>\n
