        1. Prepare the detailed estimate of quantities and abstract estimate ofcost for a given building with specification for each item of work.<\/li>\n
        2. All types of interior works like partition, wall paneling, false ceiling, providing of furniture, cabinets, painting, flooring, dadoing etc.in residential and commercial buildings.<\/li>\n
        3. A single room with R.C.C roof with or without partition wall of brick above plinth level.<\/li>\n
        4. Remodeling of existing residence and commercial building with additions and alterations.<\/li>\n
        5. Furniture items like wooden table, chair, teapoy, upholstered seating, dining table etc.<\/li>\n
        6. Water supply and sanitary fittings inside a building (excluding water supply sanitary connections).<\/li>\n

            SUGGESTED STUDENT ACTIVITIES:<\/h4>\n
              \n
            1. To conduct market survey and to collect specifications of building materials and fittings and fixtures (water supply, sanitary and hardware) along with rates.<\/li>\n
            2. To collect specifications forfinished interior furnitures along with rates.<\/li>\n
            3. To prepare estimate of interior works for an existing building and submit the same.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Execution Note:<\/h4>\n

              1. Maximum of 4 students in each batch for student activity<\/li>\n
              2. Any two activities (either from the list given or any similar activities) shall be assigned among different batches may be assigned by the teacher based on interest of the students.<\/li>\n
              3. Project activities shall be carried out throughout the semester and present the project report at the end of the semester; concerned teacher is expected to observe and record the progress of students’ activities.<\/li>\n
              4. Submit qualitative hand-written report not exceeding 6 pages; one report per batch.<\/li>\n
              5. Each of the activity can be carried out off-class well in advance; however, demonstration\/presentation should be done during class sessions.<\/li>\n
              6. Assessment shall be based on quality of work as prescribed by the table.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
