The candidates who wish to seek admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must compulsorily qualify for UGNEET-2024 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam conducted by NTA, New Delhi.

For admission to Architecture, the course candidate should compulsorily appear for NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture or for JEE Paper-2 examination.

KCET 2024 Mode of Online Application

Candidates have to enter the application details online to become eligible for admission to Professional Courses through Karnataka Examinations Authority. There is no pen and paper form. KCET 2024 exams will be carried out in two shifts.

  • The online application is a user-friendly application.
  • First candidates have to download the blank application and in consultation with parents
  • The entire online application process is in two phases.
  • In the first phase, candidates will fill the details and can edit the data any number of times, and also can take the draft printouts before selecting the declaration.
  • In the second phase, the candidates have to select the declaration after confirming that there are no changes to be incorporated or that all the entries made by them in the online application are correct.
  • Once the declaration is done there is no provision to change/edit/delete/add any information to the entries already made by the candidates.
  • Candidates are informed to make sure that the entries made before the declaration are correct.
  • After declaration, candidates have to pay the fees by following the prescribed procedure.
  • After completion of all the processes, the candidates are required to take a final printout of the online application form for further process at the time of online seat allotment.

Candidates who qualify for KCET have to go through with the cutoff of last year will be allotted their preferred seat. General category students should score 50 % while SC, ST, and OBC category candidates should score 40% to qualify KCET 2024.

KCET Marks: Marks obtained in physics, chemistry, and mathematics will be added and the maximum mark is 180.

It was earlier scheduled to be organized on August 9, 2020. New dates are yet to be announced. Application forms were available until July 7, 2020. Karnataka PGCET is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority for admission into MBA/MCA/ME/M-TECH/M-ARCH courses in various colleges offering these courses. PGCET Karnataka 2020: Academic Eligibility

The details of all M.E/MBA/MCA/M-TECH/M-ARCH courses are available on the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website http://kea.kar.nic.in. PGCET Karnataka 2020: Non-Eligibility

  1. All the undergraduate degrees to be approved Government/VTU/other respective universities.
  2. Degrees from Aeronautical Society of India is NOT Approved as per the VTC, Belgaum dated 12-08-2014 (Aug 2014)
  3. B.E Degree through Distance Education are not eligible for M.Tech as per the VTC, Belgaum dated 30-05-2014 (May 2014)
  4. Degrees from Aeronautical Society of India and Associate Membership Examination of Institution of electronics and Telecommunication (AMIET) are NOT permitted to M.Tech. As per VTU, Belgaum dated 14-05-2018 (May 2018).

PGCET Karnataka 2020: Fee Structure

Application forms are accepted only after payment of the application fee. Fee should be paid by submitting the generated challan in the specified bank for payment. General and OBC candidates should pay Rs. 650/- for each course. And RS.500/- for SC / ST and category-1- only candidates of Karnataka.
