- Preparation of colour charts by light, pigment, chromatic circle and Brewster’s theory.
- Preparation of printing paste using pigment colours.
- Printing practice using Hand blocks and screens with various classes of dyes.
- Preparation of screens for screen-printing.
- Resist style ( batik) of printing on fabrics.
- Discharge style of printing on cotton, PET and silk.
- Tie and dye printing.
- Anti-crease finishing of cotton using formaldehyde and non-formaldehyde based chemicals.
- Softening of cotton and wool.
- Water proof finishing on cotton.
- Experiments on fastness properties of dyed and printed fabrics.
- Evaluation of dye uptake- K/S using spectrophotometer.
- Experiments on Finishing of garments.
