- Preparation of colour charts by light, pigment, chromatic circle and Brewster’s theory
- Preparation of printing paste using pigment colours
- Printing practice using Hand blocks and screens with various classes of dyes
- Preparation of screens for screen-printing.
- Resist style ( batik) of printing on fabrics
- Discharge style of printing on cotton, PET and silk
- Tie and dye printing
- Anti-crease finishing of cotton using formaldehyde and non-formaldehyde based chemicals
- Softening of cotton and wool
- Water proof finishing on cotton
- Experiments on fastness properties of dyed and printed fabrics
- Evaluation of dye uptake- K/S using spectrophotometer
- Experiments on Finishing of garments
