- Tensile, shear and compression tests of metallic and non metallic specimens using Universal Testing Machine
- Torsion Test
- Bending Test on metallic and nonmetallic specimens.
- Izod and Charpy Tests on M.S, C.I Specimen.
- Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers’s Hardness test.
- Fatigue Test.
Course Outcomes:
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Identify the measuring instrument and demonstrate its usage.
- Calibrate pressure sensor, thermocouple, LVDT and load cell.
- Explain the usage of slip gauges for calibration of vernier caliper, height gauge and micrometer.
- Determine the form tolerance (cylindricity and circularity).
