Part – A:

  1. Inspection of vehicles and preparation of test charts.
  2. Tuning of Engines: Check for ignition timing, valve tappet clearance, Radiator flushing and check for leaks etc.,
  3. Study and practice on
    1. Cylinder reboring machine
    2. Valve refacing machine
    3. Nozzle grinding machine.
    4. Brake drum skimming machine
    5. General servicing of two wheeler

Part – B:

  1. Servicing of FIP, Calibration and phasing of FIP.
  2. Study and practice of wheel balancing and wheel alignment.
  3. Testing of Two wheeled vehicles on chassis dynamometer.
  4. Battery testing and charging
  5. Head light focusing test and visibility test.

Conduct of Practical Examinations:

  1. All Lab Experiments are to be included for practical examination.
  2. Breakup of marks and the instructions printed on the cover page of answer script to be strictly adhered by the examiners.
  3. Students can pick one experiment from each part from lot prepared by examiners.
  4. Change of experiment is allowed only once and 15% Marks allotted to the procedure part to be made zero.
  5. Max. Marks for prt A and B should be 30, 50 marks and for viva 20 marks.
