- Calibration of Pressure Gauge (Bourdon tube pressure gauge)
- Calibration of Thermocouple
- Calibration of LVDT
- Calibration of Load cell
- Determination of modulus of elasticity of a mild steel specimen using Strain gauges.
- Speed measurement-using Stroboscope
Part – B:
- Calibration of Micrometer, Vernier caliper, Height gauge using slip gauges
- Measurements using Optical Projector / Toolmaker Microscope.
- Measurement of Angle using Sine Center / Sine bar / bevel protractor
- Measurement of Cylindricity and Circularity of Automobile Components
- Measurement of Straightness and Flatness
- Calibration of Bore gauge, inside micrometer and component measurement
- Measurement of Screw threads parameters using Two wire or Three-wire method
- Measurements of Surface roughness using Tally Surf/Mechanical Comparator
- Measurement of gear tooth profile using Gear Tooth Vernier/Gear Tooth Micrometer.

Conduct of Practical Examinations:
- All Lab Experiments are to be included for practical examination.
- Breakup of marks and the instructions printed on the cover page of answer script to be strictly adhered by the examiners.
- Students can pick one experiment from each part from lot prepared by examiners.
- Max. Marks for prt A and B should be 30, 50 marks respectively and for viva 20 marks.
- Change of experiment is allowed only once and 15% Marks allotted to the procedure part to be made zero.
