Note: the following activities or similar activities for assessing CIE (IA) for 5 marks (Any one)

  1. Visit a nearby ETP and note down the Preventive measures taken in the place for O & M of different units
  2. Visit a nearby WTP and note down the Corrective measures taken in the place for O & M of different units
  3. Determine the most common causes for the leak detection in the water distribution system in your town
  4. Visit a nearby Pumping station and submit a report on the record keeping procedure
  5. Submit a report on the prevailing sewer maintenance procedure followed in the town.
  6. Visit a nearby WTP and write a report on the common operational problems occurring in the filtration systems
  7. List out the Personnel Protective equipments used during sewer cleaning
  8. Visit a nearby stores of a WTP and list out the equipments present for corrective maintenance during breakdown
  9. Visit a WTP or ETP and bring out the Organisational structure present over there
  10. Prepare a cost estimate of an unit in WTP/ETP
