UNIT-I: SECONDARY AND AUXILIARY MOTIONS 12Hrs
Let off Motion: objects, types of let off motions, Negative let ff motion, Bartlett let off motion, Electronic let off. Take up Motion: objects, types of take up, 5 and 7wheel take up motion; worm and worm wheel take up motion, Anti-crack motion or crack preventers. Types of Back rest. Loom drives. Automatic Looms: features, Merits and demerits, types of automatic looms, Weft feeler mechanism, warp stop motions. Electrical Warp stop motion. Mechanical warp stop motion. Shuttle protector motion, Cop changing mechanism, and Shuttle Changing mechanism
