UNIT: I HAND MOULDS HOURS: 10 Hours
- Designing and drawing of Hand moulds,
- Two plate hand mould
- Hand mould with ejector grid
Introduction of Design standards for injection moulds, drawing of component drawing to the size, Calculation of shrinkage, drawing of details of core and cavity with shrinkage dimensions, and designing of assembly views like plan view, sectional front view, sectional side view, preparing the material list and drawing of production drawings of all the elements (Part details) with various types of dimensioning methods, geometrical dimensions, tolerances, fits, machining symbols and surface finish standards.
UNIT: II SINGLE CAVITY INJECTION MOULDS HOURS: 12 Hours
