- CO1 Ability to file and produce flat surfaces, maintain right angles & open dimensions using hand tools.
- CO2 Ability to carry out rhythmic hammering at concentrated point. Ability to mark straight lines, profiles, letter and number punching on metal surfaces using scale, scriber Dividers & dot punches. Cutting metal pieces with hacksaw.
- CO3 Filing and making open fits having different geometric shapes and maintaining dimensions.

Introduction and demonstration of marking on metal surfaces & dot punching, hacksaw frame, blade, blade fixing techniques, guiding blade and carrying out sawing. Study of different types of hammers and their application, practicing effective way of hammering, striking on targeted area in rhythmic manner.
